Young at Heart is more than just an animal rescue. It’s a community.
We know the importance of pets in the lives of the people who love them, and we feel that by supporting and giving back to the community, we are making the lives of pets better in the long run. Whether it’s offering a discount on our senior pets to senior citizens through our Heart To Heart program, or helping people feed their pets during these trying economic times, by providing Sanctuary Homes as an alternative to euthanasia when one of our senior pets is no longer adoptable, or by offering Educational materials to those visiting us, we feel that each one of these programs is doing its part in making the world a better place for senior pets.
