It is with a heavy heart that I send this email. Nellie, our pug for adoption, passed away this afternoon during a routine spay and dental. Dr. Flaska thinks she may have had an underlying heart condition or could not filter anesthesia properly. She is the first one we've ever lost under anesthesia. Either way, it's a sad day over here, and Karen & Andrew are devestated. They were fostering her, and were going to adopt her after her surgery today.
