FOSTERING & SANCTUARY HOMES:
For information and questions regarding fostering one of our adoptable dogs or cats, please email Kim Young at foster@yahpetrescue.com. If you would like to be considered for our fostering program, please visit our fostering page to download our application. For information on becoming a long-term Sanctuary Home for a special needs or hard to place senior dog or cat, the initial process is the same as the fostering process. Please visit our fostering page and submit the application, and indicate that you are interested in becoming a Sanctuary Home.

For information about donating to Nina’s Pet Food Pantry, please contact us at info@yahpetrescue.com . Young at Heart provides pet food to needy families through already-established channels of food distribution and cannot distribute directly to the public. If you are in need of pet food assistance, please check with the food pantry in your area by visiting http://www.feedingillinois.org/need/ or by calling the Northern Illinois Food Bank at (630) 443-6910.
